Tracy began Trade Winds Photography in 1998, became a professional in 1996 and has pursued his interest in photography since the early eighties. His work is a constant evolution as his inspirations comes from a variety of sources, but most importantly, from each and every client he photographs. His work has been seen in several publications, including the front cover of the Maui Wedding Planner.
Tracy’s professionalism has been contributed to many organizations. He has served as an elected official for the Maui Wedding Association and Maui Professional Photographers. He is dedicated to providing quality professional photography services on Maui and the entire Hawaiian Islands.
Tracy’s love of the great outdoors first brought him to Maui in the early 1980’s.
On any given day (when he’s not working) you can find Tracy outside trying to catch a wave, paddling canoes, biking the Island or just having fun. He also loves the movies and you’ll often find him quoting lines from movies that seem to fit life as it happens.
If you're lucky (or unlucky, depending on your point of view) you may get one of his impersonations of Homer Simpson, Ronald Regan, or Clint Eastwood, but never ask him to do his Mike Tyson, especially if he’s Hungry. Tracy has a great love for most animals and shares his home on Maui with “Rocky” his pet cat. Rocky usually has the final say in most disputes. Tracy’s unique sense of humor keeps him smiling most of the time.
